I'm still in the process of swapping for the MAC Delights Trend Palette and MAC Brown Script Matte2 e/s. I might be getting the black l/s from the style black collection BUT I'm waiting to swatch it in person.

Personally I think it's a Fall must really for anyone who can wear it and is obsessed with grays. I think it would look good on NW's of all shades and med-darker NC's It turns a taupey gray with slight purple undertones on me. Night Moth encourages the purple. It is very opaque, but you can put it on how you like.

On my hand it's swatched left to right.

On my lips a bit of Night Moth with Our Pick on top.

Oh yeah...so this is the picture that inspired me to try such an odd color.

Yeah so no actual BB Ivy League Collection products were used. I'm trying to learn how to take inspiration without buying anything I don't need. I used mostly matte shadows btw. Just one shimmer in the inner eye. Inspiration Picture...

"Light hand" is a phrase I need to learn better! But I tried...

Sorry, I had the hardest time getting this to photograph right, with all the contrast with my skin. Anyways it looked better in person =(.

I used the Bronzey Taupe on the outside and in the outer crease, the blue in the center and the silver in the inner and blended out into the crease. I wanted to look like a Fairy...a Fairy named Sky Glow =p.

the Bakeries!!! For the love of all that is sacred and holy, their baked goods are so amazing...and the bakeries are everywhere. Absolutely, everywhere!

Art Deco: A German Makeup Brand

So while I was visiting Germany I, of course, had to check to check out Art Deco. For some reason I wasn't expecting much, but I really liked the brand overall. The pigmentation and quality of their products is outstanding. Considering the exchange rate, they are about the cost of MAC, maybe a little bit more expensive, but not much, and the quality is a lot better. I guess since they are a German brand I didn't expect the pigmentation to stand up to brown skin, but I was wrong...very wrong. All of the eye shadows and blushes come magnetized, so they can be stuck in a mini palette of three shadows and one blush color. I didn't see large palettes, but I'm sure they exist somewhere for MUAs. They have the color range of MAC, but the quality of Bobbi Brown, it's heaven really.

I really liked this pink gloss and I kind of regret not picking it up, but I was really broke and I did make a pact not to buy any mu I hadn't planned for. My friend is still there so I might have her go get it for me.

FYI: The blush color #30 is a great NARS Orgasm dupe. It's actually a lot better than Orgasm and as you can see from the picture they also have a lot of colors similar to NARS. The vibrant orange reminded me of Taj Mahal.
