Ruby Red Slippers...

Okay, so they're more like tomato red, but aren't they pretty.  They're super bright in person, but they look duller on camera for some reason.  They are patent-leather ballet flats in 'dark poppy'.

I got them from JCrew on sale for 39.99 and then it was 30% off of that.  You can't beat that with a stick.  Anyway, I wear so much navy that I thought this would be a welcome addition to my wardrobe.  I'm so incredibly bad about buying accessories and wearing color, but I'm trying to improve.  I feel incredibly proud of myself and they're so pretty.  I feel all chic and cool when I wear them.

They're adorable! And very chic and cool Laughing out loud Sometimes I wish I could rock the bright-shoes look on a daily basis, but I split my time between two incredibly fashion-conservative cities. So my ruby slippers (well, ruby stilettos) are strictly for party time.

Also, while we're on the subject of slippers, may I say that I LOVE the pic in the upper left of the pointe shoe and the roses? It is bee-yoo-tee-full...

I love them! The color is perfect and makes me think of Spring (eventhough is 21 below outside Shocked )

Pharm if you go to themes under your _.onsugar.com link at the top you can customize the current theme or change it to a different theme all together by looking under the featured/shared tabs. If you're savvy enough you can modify the html of a theme and make it entirely your own. I can do that, but I'm a bit too lazy, so I modified the Pigs and Hippos theme.
